Have one single Evernote note for any day. Log your thoughts, notes, records, timestamps, photos, reminders, geotags to the note quickly.

All your notes are stored in the special Evernote notebook chronologically. The note is labelled with the current date automatically. You can have many journals selecting different notebooks.

It’s best for doing your journal, diary, life log in Evernote. You can choose the date to make an entry freely if you miss the day.

App automatically inserts geotags and timestamp. When offline the entries are stored locally until app is online. You can choose prepend or append notes, any date format.

Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This app is fantastic for keeping short (or long) notes that can be stored to your Evernote account. The notes can have photos, screenshots, audio or other rich media. I hope the developer continues to update the app. It would be nice to also have a dark screen option.

the entry for the same day attaches to the same file and sometimes it doesnt. Great when it works. Annoying when it doesnt.

This is a good app to type notes and journals throughout the day and have them automatically accumulate in a day journal in Evernote

Some bad moments

Garbage app, does not allow you to edit time stamp or to easily add a new time. Dont waste your money.

One note per day, sequentially time stamped entries appended to that note, & its fast opening makes this a tool useful for more than just journaling. Add in the check boxes, pic, etc & its worth the price if you need to document your day as you work.

Love this app after one day of use. It’s easy, Start each day with a fresh page then write, jot, whatever happened that day then sent it to Evernote. It is automatically organized in Evernote under that day. Next day, repeat. It’s a great time saver.

I use this program many times daily for journaling. I compose the text in Drafts, transfers it here and a photo if desired and send it to Evernote.

Despite the many great features of DayOne, it’s always bothered me that you can’t add multiple pics to a single entry. In addition to allowing you to keep all of your important stuff in a single app, DayEntry does allow for multiple pic selection for single entries. Further, if you’re a person who prefers numerous notebooks to tags, you can use the DayEntry notebook as your default notebook (or any other one that you choose). If you prefer to have very few notebooks and instead rely on tags, then you can use a default “General” or “Cabinet” notebook (and delete the automatically-created DayEntry notebook) along with your preferred default journal tag. Or, you can easily just change notebooks and/or tags with each entry on the fly. I could go on, but the developers description of the app in iTunes does a great job of listing the app’s features that include timestamps, geotags, TextExpander support and more. To top it all off, the setup and use of the app is really intuitive and simple for being so deceptively robust. DayOne deleted.

Fast and easy journal for Evernote. Looks clean in Evernote with a time stamp and map. Exactly what I needed.
